Happy Holidays

Image
Happy holidays to everyone! Since Christmas is upon us, my sister wanted to make a Christmas ornament on Paint.NET, so I made one to show her how to make one, and I thought to keep it and share it on here. If you look at some older posts, you can find how I did most of the effects since I put it on here a while ago, probably at least 2 or 3 years ago, but don't quote me on that. Here it is. I've also decided to make something else other than just an ornament, so I made an image that I call Holiday Lights. I have two different versions that I like so I will post them on here and see which one you guys like. Personally, I like the second one, but both have qualities that I like about them. Here they are. Holiday Lights II Holiday Lights III Yes, they are called II and III respectively since I made a first version but it had a bit too much green in it for my liking. The third version also has a bit too much green, but it looks brighter and that's the main reaso

Happy Fall

Image
Well, after eons of me not updating this blog, I thought I would update it with a new image that is fresh out of my brain and even fresher out of Paint.NET. I made something to welcome Fall, even though fall is pretty much over. Hence the top two corners have a bit of blue "ice" in them. I did a bit of a different approach to this on accident. I started at the bottom center and was about to do things with the Radial Blur Deluxe Effect, and it was set to the center of the image like usual. That is where the orange wisps at the bottom come in, and I thought it was cool since I usually center things where the color is, but I'm glad I changed it for this image. Look to see more from me soon. I hope that this semester ends soon and that I have enough motivation to continue making more PDN Pictures. Comment if you'd like.

Website Backgrounds

Image
So this semester for my Web Development and Design class, we had to make a website (obviously) about toys and I chose to go the electronic toys route. My teacher had us search for backgrounds for the site, but I didn't really like the ones that I found online so I took a shot at making my own. So this post is pretty much focused on those backgrounds that I think look pretty cool, yet empty for just images. I hope that you enjoy them. The first one, very plain and not much there. Redesign from scratch, which I think looks better. That about does it, leave comments below if you'd like.

Well, after not so long after my last post, I have something new for you. It's called Unending Void and after working on it for a bit and trying to add something to it, I feel that it is as good as it's going to get. Of course voids are empty, but you can't have just a black canvas for an image and call it a void can you. Even though I've seen some interesting works of art that people took seriously so it might actually be a thing. Anyways, here is the image. I took a different approach at this one starting with renderings of shapes and having them be different colors. Not sure how it turned out, but one of my friends likes it so I'm hoping it is worthy for the blog. Not my best work of art, but it's okay none the less. I'm keeping this up to date so that's what's important.

Spring Around the Corner

Image
With winter ending (hopefully sometime soon) I decided to make an artwork depicting that. I made a spring color artwork with a bit of blue on the outsides pretty much like ice melting away. I basically made one background with the green and yellow colors and then distorted the heck out of it to what you see now and then added the blue on the outside and distorted the heck out of that too. I'm sorry for not keeping this up to date, just school and such is keeping me away from it, and I don't have the excuse of not having a Windows computer since I have two. Anyway, enough chit chat, here's the image. I hope you enjoyed and comment below if you have any ideas. I'm always looking for inspiration.
