Fluidic Space

Image
Remember the Trial by Fire image? This is literally the same image, but layer blend modes are a bit different and a few effects made it so that it would look different enough from the last image. This is more what I was going for the first time around, but still not really quite there. When I looked at it trying to figure out if I could add anymore, I thought it looked like a place in Star Trek: Voyager that an alien species called Species 8472 lived, so I give you their home called Fluidic Space. Like I said before, effects are pretty much the same as with Trial by Fire, but the layer blend modes are a bit different. I used Color Burn, Screen, and Lighten to keep the yellow traces in there, but also made it a bit darker with Difference and Darken since it isn’t all yellow. Enjoy these images and I hope to see you soon.

Left Behind

Wow, I haven't posted here for a long time, and I started this blog too!!! That's sad, but oh well, never fear, here is one of my newest space scapes!! I made it for the SAC (Space Art Competition), and I got 3rd place! Not too bad for doing this for the first time!!! I really enjoyed this competition and I think that I've learned a lot from it!! Everything in the picture was made on Paint.NET except for the bigger ship. Pretty cool, and no, I didn't make the award, haha. I hope to get better and get first place on the next competition! I hope you liked the picture that I made as much as I enjoyed making it!! Feel free to comment as usual!

New Pictures!!!

Image
I finally got around to making some new pictures!!! All I will really say is that I was inspired by Google Search on the first 3, the next two are just random and a bit of color changing, and the last two are done from tutorials online!! Here they go! Google Search Inspiration Energized Blue Mystic Light Heat Tunnel Random Unknown Midnight Tutorials Mountain Panels Tutorial provided my barbieq on the Paint.NET forum. Galaxy Green Tutorial provided by Celestrial on the Paint.NET forum. I know, this was a huge update!!!! I've been busy this week making picture after picture after picture!!! I may have exhausted all of my ideas for now, haha. I hope you like this update!!!

Galaxy Updated!

Image
I've had this galaxy updated, but I haven't posted it so I shall do that now. All I really did was add some "tails" to it to make it look a bit more realistic. I'm not really sure what more to do with it except for call it done. It still doesn't look the best, but I'm not really sure what to do with it. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

Purple Planets

Image
This space scape is one that I've made a while ago, but have never put it on here. I was going to do other things with it, but then at the end I decided not to. I've made a lot of space scapes I know, but they are really fun to do! Later on I may come up with something else but for now this will have to do. I hope people enjoy this picture. Comments would be appreciated!

Galaxy

I'm finally posting my galaxy attempts that I have done. I'm not sure if they are very good so if anyone notices a change that I need to do, tell me. I'm trying to improve my art and telling me will help out a lot!!! The one above is my first attempt at this, but I think it's pretty good for a first attempt. I made these without the help of tutorials so yeah! Trey helped me out with it and told me what I needed to improve on it. I tried different things on it, and finally decided that I needed to start over from scratch, but that on top was the end result! This next one is one that I made from scratch using slightly different methods than the one above. This one is the newer one that I made. Not the best I know, but what the heck. I'm still trying to improve it. I think that it's a bit too bright and that I need to tone the colored area down on the light a bit. Aside from that, I think it's okay. Any constructive criticism is welcome, just leave it in the...

Earth-like Planet

Image
I've been messing around with planet making on Paint.NET and this is the earth like planet that I created. It didn't take as long as the other space scape that I made, but it did take a bit of creativity. The inner atmosphere was the hardest part because I already put clouds in the planet itself, but I didn't know that it would affect how the atmosphere would look like so I had to make it a bit dimmer. The sun also took a bit of trial and error because it wouldn't come out how I wanted it to. I finally got it to work and added a moon just for the heck of it. This might be it for a while unless my friend tells me that I have to make more. I might make more just for the fun of it because this is something new and I want to experiment with it!!!

Space!

Image
Hey! I just recently made a new picture with the help of tutorials given to me by my friend. It's a space scape which is really cool how he figured out how to make it!!! First though, I had to make my starfield with a sort of space cloud or nebula. It was pretty fun and it took some trial and error, but eventually I got it to look like what you see below. Okay so I got the nebula and cloud in, but that looks too plain and dark. I then remembered that he also sent me a tutorial of how to make a planet. This also took some trial and error, but I eventually made the perfect planet. I then wanted to put some rings on it, and also wanted to perfect Trey's design on them a bit. I added the rings and made them look different than his, but they still look a bit weird. He then told me to add some back light and the results of about 3 hours of work is what you see below! I hope that I am able to make some more pictures to put up here soon. I may make more planet ones, but we'll see w...
