New Design

Hey, welcome to my new and improved blog!!! I changed things up a bit just because I was getting bored of the old layout. I hope that you like it as much as I do!!!

Galaxy

Image
I'm finally posting my galaxy attempts that I have done. I'm not sure if they are very good so if anyone notices a change that I need to do, tell me. I'm trying to improve my art and telling me will help out a lot!!! The one above is my first attempt at this, but I think it's pretty good for a first attempt. I made these without the help of tutorials so yeah! Trey helped me out with it and told me what I needed to improve on it. I tried different things on it, and finally decided that I needed to start over from scratch, but that on top was the end result! This next one is one that I made from scratch using slightly different methods than the one above. This one is the newer one that I made. Not the best I know, but what the heck. I'm still trying to improve it. I think that it's a bit too bright and that I need to tone the colored area down on the light a bit. Aside from that, I think it's okay. Any constructive criticism is welcome, just leave it in the

Lucky Number 13 Picture

Image
Okay, so here is the Luckey Number 13 picture that I entered and I got 3rd place!! I think that's pretty good for a competition. Anyway, now that the competition is over, I will post my picture here so that you can see what it looks like from here without having to go to the Paint.NET forum. That's it, and I think that it was an interesting sort of attempt. It was a bit challenging to make it look how I wanted. I wanted it to look like a crystal ball with the 13 inside as well as some clouds. If you like it, leave a comment below!

Fire Biohazard

Image
This is an older picture that I made a while ago by accident. I used the Kaleidoscope and Fire!! plugins. It turned out to look like the Biohazard sign so I just had to keep it. I'm not sure what else to do with it though. It is considered unfinished since it's plain as plain can be. There it is. The way that I made it by accident is that the Kaleidoscope plugin doesn't allow me to choose a certain shape to come out so this is really an work of art that can't be duplicated! I hope my readers enjoy looking at this blog and that they keep supporting it!

Lucky Number 13

Well, pretty soon after the competition on Paint.NET forums, I will put my picture up on here and see what you think, for now though, you will have to look at them yourself and see what you think of the competitors! Underneath the rules are the pictures so go and look at them and decide which one's the best! Website is: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/20086-aotw-13/

Over 100 Views!!

To all that have looked at my blog, thank you!!! I hope that  you like what you see here and I'll be improving my art as I go along! I hope that I get more people looking at this as time goes on! Pretty soon I'll be posting another space scene, but not like the ones I've already shown here. Thanks again to all of my readers!

The Lost has been Found!!

The lost flashdrive has been found once again so now images will be moving back and forth much easier than before!!!! More pictures to come on Monday!

Glass Orb!

Image
Hey, here's a new picture that I just finished! It's a Red Glass Orb and I call it...Red Glass Orb. Haha!! Anyway, it wasn't as hard as the Jewel, but it was a bit challenging since what the tutorial said made it look a bit different so I changed a few things up! This is it! I hope that you enjoy and I'll be back with more creations when I get around to making more, haha!!! I may make more soon just because Trey has told me to try some tutorials to improve my art skills, and he's right!!! (Tutorial was provided by xmario on the Paint.NET forum.)

The Gem!!

Image
I've been busy making new art and I came across a tutoral on the Paint.NET forum and it looked awesome!!!! First before I show you the actual gem, I'll show you the picture that I started out with. This is the Sombrero Galaxy and I decided to go ahead and use this as my starting picture since the tutorial called for an outside image! I made the gold stuff that you see without the use of a picture, but from scratch. The glossiness of the Jewel I added as well. I call this picture, Jewel!! This was probably the hardest to make because you have to be paitent with the program, and save it. I also had to stop and look at the tutorial a lot! Then the background took a long time because I wanted it to look unique and not like everyone elses! I think that I succeeded!!! (Tutorial was provided by barbieq25 on the Paint.NET forum.)

Earth-like Planet

Image
I've been messing around with planet making on Paint.NET and this is the earth like planet that I created. It didn't take as long as the other space scape that I made, but it did take a bit of creativity. The inner atmosphere was the hardest part because I already put clouds in the planet itself, but I didn't know that it would affect how the atmosphere would look like so I had to make it a bit dimmer. The sun also took a bit of trial and error because it wouldn't come out how I wanted it to. I finally got it to work and added a moon just for the heck of it. This might be it for a while unless my friend tells me that I have to make more. I might make more just for the fun of it because this is something new and I want to experiment with it!!!

Older Pictures

Image
I know that I already published my newest stuff on here, but I just want to show some of the older things that I have done. The one below is a picture that I made right after graduation from my school and I sent it to everyone from my school who gave me their email address at one point. Our school colors were purple and gold. This next one I made a while ago. It was about a year ago that I made it and it was before I had the fire plugin. I call it Fire Explosion. I know, it doesn't look like fire at all, but oh well. I used what I could to make it look firey. This one I had the fire plugin and the background is fire as well. I made it a contradicting blue with red, or cool color with a warm color. I call it Cool Fire for that reason. This last but not least was made last December when it was cold. I call this one a simple three letter word...Ice. How exciting right!? I will be posting newer pictures as soon as they are made. I don't know if I will post any space ones or not,

Space!

Image
Hey! I just recently made a new picture with the help of tutorials given to me by my friend. It's a space scape which is really cool how he figured out how to make it!!! First though, I had to make my starfield with a sort of space cloud or nebula. It was pretty fun and it took some trial and error, but eventually I got it to look like what you see below. Okay so I got the nebula and cloud in, but that looks too plain and dark. I then remembered that he also sent me a tutorial of how to make a planet. This also took some trial and error, but I eventually made the perfect planet. I then wanted to put some rings on it, and also wanted to perfect Trey's design on them a bit. I added the rings and made them look different than his, but they still look a bit weird. He then told me to add some back light and the results of about 3 hours of work is what you see below! I hope that I am able to make some more pictures to put up here soon. I may make more planet ones, but we'll see w

New Pictures!!!

Image
I finally have access to my pictures, but I'll show you some recent ones that I haven't shown before. Two of these are assignments that my friend Trey and I have given each other, and the other one was just for fun! This first one was an assignment that Trey gave to me. He said to make what I thought it would look like inside an electrical wire or cable. This is what I came up with using my new Lighning effect for the electrical current. Then after that I gave the assignment to make a picture of what it would look like inside of an atom. I used the Lightning plugin for this one too for almost all of it except for the backlight. This third and last one, for now, I made without an assignment from Trey or myself. I made a different one but Trey told me that it was too flat and that I needed to change the point of view. In this one I didn't use the Lightning effect, instead I used a gradient and then used the Fire! plugin. I call this one Fire Jolt. I will be coming out with mo
