Stone Head

Awesome artworks as always Julio!

Here is something I am working on:

The head was made in a program called: Sculptris, the stone texture was made in Paint.Net, and the moss was made in Photoshop (but I added it to the head in PDN). I still dont like the moss... I need to change something, and I still need to make a background. So this is still very much a WIP (work in progress), but I thought I would share it with you all.

    thanks man, i guess I was wrong about the moss. The people on the PDNfans forum really liked the moss. They suggested i add leaves and bark and a ground and background, and......... :)

    Hey good work guys on all your art works. I espically like your space scapes from earlier, master julio. The moss looks great heat stroke but id reccommend adding to it like the people on PDNfans forum suggested. Leaves would look cool.

Wow, I haven't posted here for a long time, and I started this blog too!!! That's sad, but oh well, never fear, here is one of my newest space scapes!! I made it for the SAC (Space Art Competition), and I got 3rd place! Not too bad for doing this for the first time!!! I really enjoyed this competition and I think that I've learned a lot from it!! Everything in the picture was made on Paint.NET except for the bigger ship. Pretty cool, and no, I didn't make the award, haha. I hope to get better and get first place on the next competition! I hope you liked the picture that I made as much as I enjoyed making it!! Feel free to comment as usual!

Space!

Hey! I just recently made a new picture with the help of tutorials given to me by my friend. It's a space scape which is really cool how he figured out how to make it!!! First though, I had to make my starfield with a sort of space cloud or nebula. It was pretty fun and it took some trial and error, but eventually I got it to look like what you see below. Okay so I got the nebula and cloud in, but that looks too plain and dark. I then remembered that he also sent me a tutorial of how to make a planet. This also took some trial and error, but I eventually made the perfect planet. I then wanted to put some rings on it, and also wanted to perfect Trey's design on them a bit. I added the rings and made them look different than his, but they still look a bit weird. He then told me to add some back light and the results of about 3 hours of work is what you see below! I hope that I am able to make some more pictures to put up here soon. I may make more planet ones, but we'll see w
