New Pictures

I've been posting like crazy this month!!! I'm trying to get as many pictures done and posted before I leave in 6 days! Anyways, here are some of my more recent pictures that I made. The newest ones are at the top and the older ones are at the bottom!

I call this one Mountain Horizon. I made the mountains by looking at some mountains from the Internet and drawing them on Paint.NET. I'm not sure if I'll add anything else to it since it looks pretty good as it is. 

This next one I did with my sister and I call it Desert Jewel since I used a desert background for it! I used barbieq25's wonderful tutorial found here.


This one is a Nebula I made. Heatstroke provided the tutorial which is found here. Very hard to make, yet amazing outcome!!


This one is called The Rush II. I made one before this one, but I edited it slightly so that it looks like it does above! Lot's of dents, radial blur delux, and zoom blur delux used!!! I won 3rd place in the WOTW competition with this so I'm proud of it!! Feel free to comment!

    Finally got the chance to comment, been so busy with finals that I havent done much in a few days, or commented. Now they are over, and I can spend more time looking at everyone's art! Just when you are about to leave. :(

    Mountain Horizon is just amazing! It almost looks like a Terragen render!

    That jewel is pure awesomeness! :D Amazing! I love what you did to the background as well!

    Great outcome with the nebula! Keep practicing and you can create some awesome nebula designs!

    The Rush II is gorgeous! Congrats on your 3rd placement!

Awesome artworks as always Julio! Here is something I am working on: The head was made in a program called: Sculptris, the stone texture was made in Paint.Net, and the moss was made in Photoshop (but I added it to the head in PDN). I still dont like the moss... I need to change something, and I still need to make a background. So this is still very much a WIP (work in progress), but I thought I would share it with you all.

Left Behind

Wow, I haven't posted here for a long time, and I started this blog too!!! That's sad, but oh well, never fear, here is one of my newest space scapes!! I made it for the SAC (Space Art Competition), and I got 3rd place! Not too bad for doing this for the first time!!! I really enjoyed this competition and I think that I've learned a lot from it!! Everything in the picture was made on Paint.NET except for the bigger ship. Pretty cool, and no, I didn't make the award, haha. I hope to get better and get first place on the next competition! I hope you liked the picture that I made as much as I enjoyed making it!! Feel free to comment as usual!

Fractal

We will miss you Julio! I have been working increasingly with Apophysis 7x, and this is my best attempt so far. It takes my computer for ever (about 5 hours) to render a single good quality fractal... The colors were heavily manipulated with Paint.Net.
