Energy Ring

Yet another art piece before school starts here for me. This one is titled Energy Ring as you can see in the title, as well as the image. I actually started this one a while ago, but I just never got around to finishing it. I then picked it back up and added the white circle and the electricity in the middle. I made the electricity all by hand and it seems pretty self explanatory. As for the rest of the image, Polar Inversion, Dents, and Radial Blur Deluxe.



I don’t remember where the inspiration came for this image since it has been in the making for a while. It’s a nice cool blue which to me has that electrical feel to it. I feel that I like cool colors a lot and now that I think about it, I need to change my color pallet. I’ll try a few warmer colors next time.

Here is something I am working on: The head was made in a program called: Sculptris, the stone texture was made in Paint.Net, and the moss was made in Photoshop (but I added it to the head in PDN). Left Behind

Wow, I haven't posted here for a long time, and I started this blog too!!! That's sad, but oh well, never fear, here is one of my newest space scapes!! I made it for the SAC (Space Art Competition), and I got 3rd place! Not too bad for doing this for the first time!!! I really enjoyed this competition and I think that I've learned a lot from it!! Everything in the picture was made on Paint.NET except for the bigger ship. Pretty cool, and no, I didn't make the award, haha. I hope to get better and get first place on the next competition! I hope you liked the picture that I made as much as I enjoyed making it!! Feel free to comment as usual!

New Pictures!!!

I finally have access to my pictures, but I'll show you some recent ones that I haven't shown before. Two of these are assignments that my friend Trey and I have given each other, and the other one was just for fun! This first one was an assignment that Trey gave to me. He said to make what I thought it would look like inside an electrical wire or cable. This is what I came up with using my new Lighning effect for the electrical current. Then after that I gave the assignment to make a picture of what it would look like inside of an atom. I used the Lightning plugin for this one too for almost all of it except for the backlight. This third and last one, for now, I made without an assignment from Trey or myself. I made a different one but Trey told me that it was too flat and that I needed to change the point of view. In this one I didn't use the Lightning effect, instead I used a gradient and then used the Fire! plugin. I call this one Fire Jolt. I will be coming out with mo
