Element 6 of 8
Element 6 of 8, Earth, wise and patient with the passage of time, provides for all, yet can also be hard and mysterious.
First off, you may be confused at my choice of elements since I've done stone and earth. Aren't they the same thing? They very much can be, but for my purposes I think of them as different. While stone is hard and comes in many different colors and shapes, earth I feel is like the underground element, or soil and clay. I was going for a more underground sort of setting here, like the ground above the cavern was cracked and sunlight is flooding in. The "crystal" effect is more for the stalactites that are commonly found in a cave and some of the crystal formations that the earth makes.
Same kind of effects as Stone, but with different colors and a darker/less colorful and less bright of an image. Hope you continue to enjoy these elements and I'll have one up for you guys next week. Six down, two more to go. I have to start thinking of what I want to do next...help me! Give me another project to work on or some ideas for images if you can.
