Render Sig

This sig was made a bit with a tutorial on the Paint.NET forums and a bit with me just messing around. The tutorial called for the smudge tool which doesn't work on my Paint.NET for some reason so I blurred the render instead. The render is from a game called Starcraft 2 as well as the text in the bottom left hand corner.

I'm not sure how this looks or if I should enter it into a sig battle or not. Trey has told me that it looks pretty good, so I may take my chances. Any comments or criticism is welcome!

    i think it looks good and that you should enter it! if you loose, you loose. if you win you win. you never know till ya try! i dont onow why smudge doesny work on your computer... maybe delete the plugin and download it again? it works fine for me. anyway, nice work!

Left Behind

Wow, I haven't posted here for a long time, and I started this blog too!!! That's sad, but oh well, never fear, here is one of my newest space scapes!! I made it for the SAC (Space Art Competition), and I got 3rd place! Not too bad for doing this for the first time!!! I really enjoyed this competition and I think that I've learned a lot from it!! Everything in the picture was made on Paint.NET except for the bigger ship. Pretty cool, and no, I didn't make the award, haha. I hope to get better and get first place on the next competition! I hope you liked the picture that I made as much as I enjoyed making it!! Feel free to comment as usual!

Fractal

We will miss you Julio! I have been working increasingly with Apophysis 7x, and this is my best attempt so far. It takes my computer for ever (about 5 hours) to render a single good quality fractal... The colors were heavily manipulated with Paint.Net.
